FAQs

How can I get a job on a traveling tour?

The best way to get a position on a traveling tour is to work your way into it. Start by being an outstanding Brand Ambassador and that will open doors for Field Manager assignments. Once you have shown yourself to be an exceptional Field Manager the tour positions will find you.

How long are the tours that you staff?

We have tours of all lengths. A tour can last anywhere from 1 month to 4 years. The average tour lasts 4-6 months.

How steady is a Tour Manager position?

It’s all about timing. If you start lining up other work when the one you’re on is ending, you have a good chance of making it a full-time job.

Can I get emails for promotions outside my area?

Emails for jobs will be sent to you based on the regions you have selected within your profile, so be sure to select all of the regions you want to work.

How long does it take to get paid?

A check is typically sent out approximately 4-5 weeks after a promotion has been completed. For programs that require payment via W2, checks will be issued every 2 weeks.

Do you take any agency fees out of my paycheck?

Encore does not take any commission or agency fee out of your check. You will be paid the full rate that is listed on the posting for the job.

Do you pay for parking?

Parking is either provided or reimbursed for most events. Our program description will include details about parking and/or transport allowances.

Do you reimburse for mileage if I drive outside of my regions?

Mileage is reimbursed on a case by case basis, and is agreed upon prior to you working an event.

Am I paid a cancellation fee if I am cancelled for an event?

Cancellation fees are paid on a case-by-case basis. You will be contacted via email from our office if you are being paid a cancellation fee.

How does your cancellation policy work?

If you cancel with less than a 72-hours notice and do not replace yourself with a qualified person pre-approved by Encore, or do not show up to a job, you will be charged with a $25 cancellation/no-show fee per shift within those 72 hours.

Who can I speak to about payment for an event that I worked?

You can reach out to the Staffing Coordinator who booked you for the event. If you do not have their contact info, email [email protected]
