Event Staffing Agency FAQs

How can I get a job on a traveling tour?

The best way to get a position on a traveling tour is to work your way into it. First, start by being an outstanding Brand Ambassador, which will open doors for Field Manager assignments. Soon, you’ll have shown yourself to be an exceptional Field Manager, and the tour positions will find you. Finally, check out LinkedIn and keep your experience and profile up to date.

How long are the tours that you staff?

We have tours of all lengths. A tour can last anywhere from 1 month to 4 years. For example, the average Encore Nationwide tour lasts 4-6 months.

How steady is a Tour Manager position?

It’s all about timing. Consider lining up your next promotional project while the one you’re on is ending. As a result, you’ll have a good chance of making it a full-time job.

Can I get emails for promotions outside my area?

Job emails are sent based on the regions you have selected within your profile. In this situation, select all the regions you want to work in and have access to attending.

How long does it take to get paid?

Checks are typically sent out 4-5 weeks after the completion of the promotion. For programs that require payment via W2, checks are issued every 2 weeks. Finally, ff you have further questions, contact us.

Do you take any agency fees out of my paycheck?

Encore does not take any commission or agency fee out of your check. You will be paid the full rate that is listed on the posting for the job.

Do you pay for parking?

Parking is either provided or reimbursed for most events. Our program description will include details about parking and/or transport allowances.

Do you reimburse for mileage if I drive outside of my regions?

Mileage is reimbursed on a case by case basis, and is agreed upon prior to you working an event.

Am I paid a cancellation fee if I am cancelled for an event?

Cancellation fees are paid on a case-by-case basis. You will be contacted via email from our office if you are being paid a cancellation fee.

How does your cancellation policy work?

If you cancel with less than 72-hours notice and do not replace yourself with a qualified person pre-approved by Encore or do not show up to a job, you will be charged a $25 cancellation/no-show fee per shift within those 72 hours.

Who can I speak to about payment for an event that I worked?

You can contact the Staffing Coordinator who booked you for the event. If you do not have their contact info, email talenthelp@encorenationwide.com

How do I get removed from your database?

Email us at removeme@encorenationwide.com and you will be removed from our database within three business days.
